Former Liverpool and Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant is amazed by the changes at his old club Notts County.
Pennant, who enjoyed victory on debut with Real Zaragoza yesterday, said: "It's amazing what's going on at my old club, when Sven signed that was just out of the blue but now with Sol joining as well just shows the ambition of the club.
"I'm sure that Sol (Campbell) will do a great job there, I've played with him and know his experience, winning mentality and fantastic professionalism will rub off on everyone.
"I was at County from 10 to 15 and made the first team. Steve Finnan was in the first team at that time.
"I've got nothing but fond memories of County and seeing them top of the league is great.
"Nothing would please me more then to see the club in the Premier League one day and if the club continue to get players like Sol then why not."
