Real Zaragoza are interested in Sunderland defender Paulo da Silva.
The Daily Mail says Da Silva is wanted by Real Zaragoza and Mexican side Cruz Azul.
Defender Da Silva, 30, has made just one Premier League appearance since arriving at the Stadium of Light 18 months ago.
Both clubs are talking about taking on Da Silva's contract that runs until the summer of 2012.
His agent, Oscar Sosa, said: "What has been offered from Cruz Azul is not bad but, to tell the truth, Europe is the place that pays better."
