Real Zaragoza have sounded out Real Madrid about a deal for defender Ezequiel Garay.
El Periodico de Aragon says Zaragoza, encouraged by Garay's agent, have sought to explore the prospect of re-signing the Argentine.
Garay is on the outer at Real, particularly with the arrival of former Valencia centre-half Raul Albiol this summer.
