Real Valladolid defender Sesma pleads with Everton to try again

Everton tried to sign Real Valladolid defender Jonathan Sesma in the summer.

AS says Everton boss David Moyes failed with a bid for the 30 year-old centre-half, who was unaware of the offer.

Sesma revealed: "I had no idea they were interested in me. Now I'm at Real Valladolid and have one year left on my contract. If they want, I could renew in January, or see what happens.

"At 31 years of age, yes, I would like to play in the Premiership."
