Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela is set to turn down a return to Arsenal.
Vela has a buy-back clause in his contract which the Gunners can activate for roughly £3.2m.
But Marca reports bad blood between the Mexican and boss Arsene Wenger will see the 25-year-old turn down a return to north London.
Vela was farmed out on loan four times during his Arsenal career, and only made three league starts during a six-year stay at the Emirates Stadium.
With David Villa quitting Atletico for New York City FC, and star man Diego Costa set for a £32m switch to Chelsea, Vela has been mooted as a possible replacement.
