Arsenal are believed to be showing considerable interest in Real Sociedad midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The 23-year old starred for Sociedad as a defensive midfielder last season and has already been linked with Real Madrid.
The Daily Mail reports that the £10million-rated Illarramendi has emerged as a strong Gunners target as Arsene Wenger looks to bring in a quality holding mid this summer.
