Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has warned Real Madrid off young fullback Alvaro Odriozola.

Odriozola has emerged as a personal target for Real coach Zinedine Zidane, but Aperribay insists La Real have no interest in selling.

He explained: "We have no interest in negotiating for Alvaro Odriozola. If Real had an interest in him, they would have called us.

"The possibility of seeing (Real Madrid president) Florentino Pérez make an offer? It is an assumption away from realities, and I do not think it deserves comment.

"The player has just renewed his contract (until 2022), we were yesterday (Wednesday) with his agent and he made no comment. This is the first time I hear that Real appreciates him."
