David Moyes met with his coaching staff at Real Sociedad yesterday.
Before taking in the afternoon training session, the former Manchester United and Everton manager was introduced to his backroom team.
La Real have confirmed Moyes' staff will be locally based, with some promotions already having been made within the coaching structure.
Imanol Sheriff, who has been working with the B squad, has been promoted to first team coach, while Erik Bretos will act as coach and also chief translator for Moyes.
Karla Larburu and Roberto Navajas continue as trainer and goalkeeping coach respectively. Juan Carlos Samaniego remains as fitness coach.
