Real Sociedad directors admit they are no closer to agreeing a deal for Manchester City striker Jo and are starting to lose patience. Jo is currently surplus to requirements at Eastlands, and they are, therefore, keen to move the Brazilian on, but will not be parting with the 23-year-old on the cheap.
City are believed to have paid out some £18million to lure Jo away from CSKA Moscow in 2008 and will be looking to make some return on that investment.
With that in mind, the Spanish outfit are ready to drop their interest and turn their attention elsewhere.
"The subject of Jo has not been discarded but has become more complicated," said a club director.
