Real Sociedad are keen to open talks about a new deal with veteran striker Raul Tamudo.

Tamudo moved to Real last summer from hometown club Espanyol.

The forward has scored five goals this season and filled in superbly for the injured Joseba Llorente.

Tamudo's deal expires in June and Real chiefs are already drawing up plans of a new contract offer.
