Real Sociedad coach Asier Garitano has welcomed their deal for Sandro Ramirez.

The Everton striker arrives on a straight 12-month loan without the option to buy.

Garitano stated: "He's okay, he played 86 minutes (in the Carabao Cup) in good conditions. I do not think he had any problems and will help us with our balance.

"He's knows the league, he can play in different ways and that will be good for the group.

"I preferred this, he's a different player because he can play in different systems. His best season in Málaga was as a forward and in Barça B he sometimes played as a winger.

"He has speed and goals and he's going to give us that balance."
