Stoke City are expected to loan out goalkeeper Jack Butland for the coming season.

The Mail on Sunday says Butland is likely to be sent on loan this season, with long-time Liverpool target Asmir Begovic now expected to stay at the club.

Butland could go abroad to play, with La Liga side Real Sociedad among the clubs interested in him.

The England international played last season on loan at Birmingham City, and may have to wait it out one more year in order to get his shot at the Premier League.
