Newcastle United reserve-team boss Lee Clark is being linked with the vacant manager's job at Carlisle United.
The Evening Chronicle says along with Carlisle, Clark is also wanted in Spain by Chris Coleman, who is now in charge of Segunda Liga Real Sociedad.
Clark has made no secret of his desire to take over the hot seat at St James' Park, and he probably accepts that if he is to achieve this ambition he will have to leave his beloved black-and-whites again and make a success of a managerial job elsewhere.
