Real Sociedad boss Moyes rebuffs Sunderland approach

David Moyes has reportedly rejected the opportunity to become the next manager of Sunderland.

According to the Daily Mail, the Real Sociedad boss has chosen to remain in Spain after holding initial talks with the Black Cats on Thursday.

Sunderland are on the hunt for a replacement for Dick Advocaat who turned down a three-year deal from the Wearside club earlier this week after guiding them to safety last season.

Moyes had been sought as a possible successor to the Dutchman but has reportedly opted to continue in his role with San Sebastian outfit Sociedad.

The former Everton and Manchester United manager is also a target for West Ham United who parted ways with Sam Allardyce on Monday.
