Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has confirmed he banned potato chips at Manchester United.

Among a number of complaints levelled at Moyes last season was banning the players from eating chips.

"Yes, I did ban chips," Moyes told FourFourTwo magazine.

"It was because a couple of players were overweight and I didn't think chips were good for their diet."
