David Moyes has remained calm concerning suggestions that he is in pursuit of Danny Ings.
The Real Sociedad boss has been heavily linked with a summer move for the striker who is out of contract at Burnley at the end of June.
However, Moyes said on Sky Sports' 'Revista de La Liga' that he would only tap into the British transfer market if it were to suit the Spanish club.
"It's a market I know, but I would only bring players if I thought they were going to make an improvement or difference," said the former Everton and Manchester United manager.
"It doesn't matter whether they're British players or from another country.
"We'll look around, we're not a club who can spend big, big money, but we're going to try and improve the squad."
