Argentina international Fabian Espindola of Real Salt Lake does not have a broken ankle.
Espindola injured his ankle in a wild celebration after a disallowed goal in RSL's 2-2 draw with the Los Angeles Galaxy. The current diagnosis is an ankle sprain that will sideline the striker from 4-8 weeks according to the club's official website. In Espindola's absence, Canada international Will Johnson and Clint Mathis will feature more prominently.
