Real Salt Lake have sent midfielder Yordany Alvarez on loan to Orlando City SC.
The 28-year old Cuban, who was with the USL Pro champions in 2011, will spend the 2014 season with the Lions before joining permanently when the club enters MLS in 2015.
Alvarez’s permanent move to Orlando has been made possible in a trade which will see Orlando’s lowest 2017 MLS SuperDraft fourth round selection for to Salt Lake.
The former Austin Aztex man has featured in 38 MLS matches with RSL since joining on loan in 2011 prior to his permanent move to Utah in January 2012.
