Real Salt Lake midfielder Andy Williams has retired from professional soccer after close to a decade and a half at the top.
The 34-year old former Jamaica international kicked off his career with Real Mona in 1997 before moving onto Harbour View the following year. He then entered MLS with Columbus Crew in 1998 and remained in the North American domestic competition ever since.
Williams also spent time with Miami Fusion, New England Revolution, New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire before really making a name for himself with RSL whom he joined in 2005.
There he made close to 200 MLS appearances and helped the club to the 2009 MLS Cup. He finishes his career as number eight on the all-time MLS assists table whilst making 92 appearances for Jamaica, including at the 1998 World Cup.
