Real Salt Lake playmaker Javier Morales is targeting an October return from a broken ankle sustained earlier this year.
The Argentine midfielder was injured in just his fifth appearance of the 2011 MLS season and has been sidelined ever since although it appears as though he could be back on October 1 against LA Galaxy.
“I think LA is a good game to come back,” he told MLSsoccer.com. “I don’t know, but I hope so. I’m working hard, more than ever. I’m trying to … come back as soon as possible.
“I have to work a lot on my stability,” added Morales. “When I get that [back], I’ll be ready.
“I need an inspiration for my life. My inspiration now is to come back quickly. As soon as possible, for me, is the best thing.”
