Real Maryland defender Gareth Evans is currently on trial with MLS club DC United.
The 23-year old Welshman joined the USSF Division 2 club this year and his performances have prompted DC to bring him in for a trial.
Evans was with the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy back in 2001 and since then has played with the NEWI Cefn Druids and Wrexham in his homeland before joining Austin Aztex in 2009.
