Real Mallorca have sounded out Everton defender Johnny Heitinga about a move to Spain.

Diario de Mallorca says Mallorca officials have held an initial round of talks with Heitinga's agent about the prospect of the defender moving to the Spanish Liga.

Heitinga has previous La Liga experience with Atletico Madrid, though is understood to be committed to the cause at Everton.
