German sports marketing agency MSC Sports has reportedly entered into partnership with Real Mallorca, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
According to Sponsors.de, the Karlsruhe-based company will market all of the second-tier Segunda División side's commercial assets, including its main shirt sponsorship, currently held by Air Europa, stadium advertising, and hospitality packages, for the next five years.
Sponsors.de reports that MSC Sports will deploy at least two staff locally in Mallorca to service the partnership, with that team set to expand to up to five people should the club achieve promotion back to Spain's top flight La Liga.
The new agreement comes after Utz Claassen, the former chief executive of Karlsruhe-based utilities company EnBW, became the majority owner and president of Real Mallorca last December.
