Ruud van Nistelrooy insists Real Madrid teammate Royston Drenthe isn't unsettled.
The Dutch wing-back has lost his place in the Real squad in the last three weeks and has had a training pitch blow-up with coach Bernd Schuster.
But Van Nistelrooy, who is close to the ex-Feyenoord star, said: "He must adapt more because he is very young and has only played a year as a professional in Holland.
"I have spoken with him and he has great ambition, but also understands that he needs more time to improve. With time, he can be an important player for Madrid."
