Real Madrid's Ronaldo: I'll support Portugal from stands
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo admits he will be forced to watch Portugal's World Cup playoff with Bosnia from the stands.
Ronaldo has been ruled out of the tie due to his ankle injury, much to the relief of Real Madrid.
"The result was not what I wanted, but it was what I expected. It is a great disappointment not being able to help Portugal, especially in such a crucial moment like this play-off against Bosnia," said Ronaldo.
"Nobody at this moment could feel more sad than me because representing Portugal will always be one of the proudest things for me as a professional footballer and as a citizen, but I have no choice.
"I'll be at the stadium to support my teammates."

I'M PRETTY SURE RONALDO IS WORRIED WE WILL WIN AGAIN WITHOUT HIM, I REALLY BELEIVE THAT WE DON'T NEED HIM, OUR COACH IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM PORTUGAL HAS, HE JUST DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO UTILIZE OUR PLAYERS, LIKE WHY NOT CALL UP QUARESMA HE PLAY'S SIMILAR TO RONALDO AND HE WANTS TO PLAY. JUST BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH MONEY INVOLVED WITH RONALDO (BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD) THAT IS NOT WHY OUR NATIONAL TEAM SHOULD HAVE HIM, THE SQUAD SHOULD CONSIST OF BEST PERFORMING PLAYERS IN THE LAST GAMES, RONALDO IS NOT ONE OF THEM, I THINK IT IS LESS PRESSURE ON THE REST OF THE GUY'S WHEN HE IS NOT ON THE PITCH. FORCA PORTUGAL SEMPRE NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
