Real Madrid winger Robinho admits he came close to joining Juventus.

"Juventus got in touch and made me an offer, but I was still very young and opted to reject it," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I was still only 18-years-old when they came in for me and it was just not the right time for me to leave my own country."
