The winger, basking in his two-goal performance in Sunday's 4-3 victory over Real Mallorca, told AS: "The trainer has grown to know me. He has spoken very clearly to me because he already has experienced what I'm going through and always gives very good advice to me.
"He asks me for consistency and concentration and always tells me to make the most of this great opportunity."
Robinho added: "I have had some difficult times since arriving in Madrid, and now I feel comfortable on the field and I am happier than ever.
"I'll play anywhere for the coach, though my best time at Santos was when playing on the left. I have more chances of scoring from that position than on the right."
