Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben has lifted the lid on some of the personalities he experienced at former club Chelsea.

Asked about Jose Mourinho, Robben told AS: "He's a very good coach, one of the best ones in Europe. I have learned much from him and I have enjoyed his work. The image that he conveys is of arrogance, but it is different when you work with him. He was very good at clearing the pressure from the players."

On Roman Abramovich, he also said: "He's like an uncle. He is very rich, but he is normal, he loves football.

"Yes, yes… after the games he was almost always inside the dressing room, but he does not speak much."
