Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain was delighted for fellow Argie Sergio Aguero after hearing of the Atletico Madrid youngster's performance in victory over Barcelona.

Higuain said: "We all know the quality of Aguero. Like (Lionel) Messi, he is young and has a big future. I hope that he continues in that way. I am happy Aguero had the chance to produce such a performance. He made a goal and scored the other two.

"If he continues like that, surely he will go very far."
