Real Madrid's Guti: It's like I've killed someone

Guti insists there's no rift with Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos and denies claims he refused to warm-up during their win at Malaga.

The midfielder replaced Marcelo at yesterday's scheduled club media conference to discuss a week of reports about his relationship with Ramos.

"I am going to talk because I have had three days of listening to some very serious claims. It's like I killed someone. The whole world can think and talk about me. Nobody knows me," said Guti.

"I feel good with the coach, the relationship is cordial and the only thing that happens is that now I'm not playing. He has not made me feel less confident than other players. The team is playing well and when this happens, it's unlikely the coach is going to make changes.

"My desire is to retire at Real Madrid in 2011. I hope to win more than one title. Now I must be strong, train and be ready so the coach can count on me to help win the League. This is my intention."
