Real Madrid defender Ezequiel Garay has steered clear of the controversy over his failed move to Barcelona in the summer.
Garay is currently on-loan at Racing Santander, with it emerging this week that Barca were too slow to cough up the necessary fee to land the youngster ahead of Real.
For his part, Garay says: "I do not want to talk about disappointment (regarding Barcelona). I was about to close my move to Barcelona, but for some reason it was not completed and I do not feel frustrated by this. I continued to train and then I had the good fortune of being able to move to Real Madrid.
"I don't know why it didn't happen. But I didn't feel upset, just happy that such a big club would show interest in me."
