Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra insists he can handle the critics.

Diarra was again pilloried for his performance against Roma on Wednesday night, but says: "I will face what people say about me, because I am a man and I must accept criticism, because it is my obligation.

"I feel very good and the solution will depend on me. It is not easy to listen to the critics, but this is Real Madrid, and it goes with the club."
