Real Madrid fullback Miguel Torres has revealed teammate Ruben de la Red is unhappy with the lack of support from some sections of the club.

De la Red is still recovering after collapsing in a Copa del Rey tie earlier this season and hopes to be given the all-clear from medical staff to resume his career.

Torres said: "I was with him yesterday, he is calm, with his family. He knows that he has to do more tests to be sure of being able to continue playing football.

"It is disappointing regarding some people, because he expected more gestures of love and thought they were his friends, but has now realized there are those who are his friends and those who are not."
