Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro admits he would welcome a return to Juventus.

"Me at Juve? It wouldn't be bad to return. I have often spoken with sporting director Alessio Secco, who is a friend of mine," said Cannavaro in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

"They were looking for a new defender, but there was never any firm negotiations with them or any other club.

"I play for Real, the most important club in the world, and I still have two years on my contract. Whoever is interested in me has to speak with them.

"In any case, in Turin I had a great time and I won two Scudetti that no one will ever take away from me."
