Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro says he's enjoying life under coach Bernd Schuster.

The veteran Italian is in impressive form this season and said: "I feel very well. At the beginning of the season everyone said that I was a Capello man, that it was going to go badly for me and that it would be all different.

"But the reality of my life is that I've not always played in teams trained by Capello. I have disputed more than 500 official games with Napoli, with the Italian national team, in Serie A... I was three years with Capello and have won three league titles.

"And now it is Schuster and I like a lot how he works, like the relationship that he has with us. We are not playing well, but now most importantly we have confidence and great ambition."
