Julio Baptista is feeling his best at Real Madrid since the arrival of coach Bernd Schuster.
The Brazil international was again outstanding in Real's Champions League victory over Lazio and appears have nailed down a starting place in Schuster's first team.
"I have never doubted my ability. I know that to succeed I must suffer and work hard. I do not know another formula other than to work and work. I have suffered in silence all the time that I have not played. But I never surrendered. I have never protested," said Baptista. "I know I have overcome a bad period."
He added: "Now I am taking my chance. I have won the trust of Schuster and now I need to work hard so this continues."
