Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez hailed two-goal Cristiano Ronaldo after victory at Eibar.

Ronaldo's latest scoring exploits helped fire Los Blancos to a 2-1 win at Eibar on Saturday afternoon, with Vazquez full of praise for the striker afterwards.

"He's very good, is playing at a great level, and scored a good double," the winger told reporters.

"It is something that he has long shown, how good he is. It is a luxury that we have him in our team and we hope he stays for a long time.

"Many things were said about him that weren't very nice or fair and it was undeserved but we're happy that he helps us win.

"Hopefully, at the end of the season, he will have even more goals."
