Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez has shrugged off defeat to PSG.

Real lost their opening International Champions Cup game in Columbus, Ohio.

"It was the first game and we've only had one week of training," he told the press. "You could see that PSG have had more time and they scored two goals against us based on marginal differences, which would not have happened in normal conditions."

Asked what Zinedine Zidane's message was to the players after the match, the 25-year-old explained that the coach was not overly concerned about the result.

"He told us that the match was less about the result and more about picking up confidence with the ball."
