Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez admits their struggles in the LaLiga are difficult to explain.

Real are into the Champions League quarterfinals after defeating PSG this week- though are battling to stay in the top four of the domestic competition.

Vazquez, outstanding at the Parc des Princes, said: "It is difficult to explain why in the LaLiga we do not do things as well as we would like.

"I think the points we lost at the start of the season made us lose some of that confidence we have in the Champions League.

"Europe is a different competition that is played every two weeks and we are good there."
