Angel di Maria has revealed Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo wants him to stay.

Di Maria has insisted he doesn't want to leave as part of Real's offer for Tottenham star Gareth Bale.

And he revealed he has the backing of Ronaldo, telling TyC Sports: "When a leader speaks well of you and supports you it is very important.

"I am grateful and try to keep doing things well."
