Real Madrid winger Marcos Asensio insists Cristiano Ronaldo is in good spirits.

Ronaldo is enduring the worst run of goalscoring form in his Real Madrid career.

But Asensio, ahead of their Champions League tie with APOEL, stated: "I think that he's in good shape and is raring to go.

"In La Liga he wouldn't seem to be having much luck in front of goal, but Cristiano always hits back and will produce the stats that we're used to seeing from him."
