Marcelo has ducked questions about the axing of Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas for their win over Real Betis.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti chose Diego Lopez ahead of Casillas for the opening round.

"The manager has to choose eleven players to play and he chooses the players he thinks are best, it's a question for the manager," said Marcelo when asked about the decision.
