Real Madrid wing-back Marcelo says they must not dwell on defeat at Valencia.

Real lost 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Marcelo said: "We started very poorly and there can be no excuses for it, that was our fault. We did all we could to at least have got a draw, but we conceded two daft goals and we must learn from our mistakes. We still remain top but we have to change things, we can't be starting games like that.

"Valencia are a great side. They've had a tough time of things but this is a difficult place to come. Their fans and players really get on top of you. We'll now learn from our mistakes to ensure that this doesn't happen again. We've lost but we now have to move on."
