Real Madrid will compete with Barcelona for AC Milan defender Thiago Silva in the summer. Only yesterday, Thiago Silva revealed he was aware that Barca were keen to sign him.

However, Real president Florentino Perez also wants to land the Brazil international and is preparing a bumper offer to test Milan's resolve.
