Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is chasing Tottenham winger Gareth Bale.

The People says he hopes to tempt manager Harry Redknapp to do business by offering Lassana Diarra in a £25million deal.

Real Madrid manager Mourinho is desperate for a new left-sided player and has switched his attention to Bale after missing out on Chelsea and England's Ashley Cole.

He will offer £13m plus Diarra, who was with Redknapp at Portsmouth.
