Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti says his side's focus will not shift from their obligations for the remainder of the season.
Real fell four points behind Barcelona in Spain's La Liga after losing 2-1 at Camp Nou in Sunday's El Clasico but that does not necessarily mean they will now only concentrate on defending their Champions League title.
Of the domestic title pursuit, Ancelotti said: "The league isn't over.
"Barcelona have the advantage but anything can happen in football. We won't prioritise the Champions League."
Ancelotti added that the loss will not dampen the spirits of Real who still have 10 matches to bridge the deficit.
"We're disappointed but we go home knowing that we played a good game," he added. "That should give us some confidence for the rest of the season."
