Real Madrid are pushing hard to close a deal with Arsenal for Alexis Sanchez.
In competition with Manchester City, Real are reluctant to go higher than €30m for a player who will be off contract in June. In contrast, City are prepared to offer almost double Real's proposal to convince Arsenal to sell.
Don Balon says Real are now willing to include a player - Lucas Vazquez - in their offer to swing the battle back in their favour. Real chiefs know Arsenal are in the market for a wide midfielder and Vazquez could be a solution for the Londoners.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane values Vazquez highly, but is expected to relent and allow the Spain international to move if it means landing Alexis ahead of City.
