Only on Monday, Kaka's agent, Diogo Kotscho, hinted of Real's imminent record offer: "If Madrid managed to sign Kaka, it would be the most expensive transfer in the history of football. The proposal of Madrid is very good and until the 31st of August it is possible that finally Kaka will be play in the Bernabeu."
Real's push for Kaka will mean the Spanish giants using the Bosman market to strengthen their squad, with Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek and Barcelona striker Javier Saviola high on president Ramon Calderon's shopping list.
