Real Madrid are lining up Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea as their long-term No1. The Mirror says Madrid want de Gea as the long term successor of their captain and Spanish No1 Iker Casillas, 31.
Casillas has long been regarded as among the best in the world but has been injured this season and Real Madrid are also planning for the future.
De Gea was outstanding as United held Real Madrid in the Champions League last week and if the former Atletico Madrid keeper was to become available then a clutch of top clubs would come in.
