Reports suggest that Real Madrid have implored Arsenal to make an improved offer for Karim Benzema.
The Gunners are again in pursuit of the French striker and are believed to be willing to pay £40million to lure the former Lyon ace to north London.
However, it is understood that Real want more for Benzema who comes out of contract next summer.
It has been reported that the Spanish giants will only look to sell Benzema in the next transfer window if they are able to entice Liverpool ace Luis Suarez or Manchester City star Sergio Aguero to the Santiago Bernabeu.
